Sumatra Super Queen Kopepi Ketiara

Kopepi (meaning “cooperative of coffee traders”) Ketiara is a women-led cooperative in Sumatra Aceh Gayo with over 25 years of experience in coffee with a core value to support women and the younger generations of coffee farmers. This offering is a 100% women produced coffee.  Like all Sumatran coffees the aromas of the jungle abound, with the musty, herby notes as you raise your cup for the first sip.

Elevation: 1,100-1,450 m.a.s.l.

Varietal:  Gayo 1 & Gayo 2

Process:  Semi-washed

Tasting Notes:  Along with the classic earthiness, you will find aromas of wood, and sweet flavors of apple, tropical fruits, fresh spices, brown sugar and bittersweet chocolate in this full-bodied coffee.  Mouthfeel is moist and acidity is clear and pleasing.
