The coffees from Brazil are always interesting. In particular, there are coffees from small growers in Brazil that are referred to as “Microlots”. They are some of the world’s best coffees because of the care and attention given to them. These microlots are from a small specific harvest that contain exceptionally cared for beans. Our Brazils are from these small microlots. Our current offering is the Dona Alayde from Priscila Nogueira Pinto Figueiredo’s farm in Carmo da Cachoeira, south of Minas Gerais.
Tasting Notes: In the cup expect a little caramel, chocolate, brown sugar, floral notes, cantaloupe. Low acidity, light, bright body.
