Delivery / Shipping Methods

In addition to selling only whole beans and using protective packaging, we have chosen to not sell coffee for store shelves.  Rather, we will get your coffee to you in one of three ways that will ensure that your coffee is as fresh as possible.  First, we can deliver it to you if you live in Boulder City. Second, you can pick it up at our roastery on roast days.  Finally, we can ship it to your home or office via United States Postal Service Priority Mail to arrive within 1-3 days after roasting. This gets you your coffee just as it is reaching its freshness peak.

In regard to shipping via USPS Priority Mail, it’s amazing how economical Priority Mail can be. For only a few pennies per cup, you can have our coffee delivered to your door just after roasting. In addition, we will notify you of shipment. The following is an example of how inexpensive shipping can be:

One pound of coffee will prepare approximately 64 cups of coffee. If you live in Southern Nevada, your shipping cost will be $4.95 for anything under 2 pounds (total weight including packaging). Let’s assume you order one pound and have it delivered. Here are the calculations.

Coffee: $12.00 per pound 16 oz. = 64 cups

Coffee cost per cup is: ($12.00 / 64) $.19 per cup

Shipping: $4.95

Shipping cost per cup is: ($4.95 / 64) $.08 per cup

Cost of coffee plus shipping per cup $.27

And, shipping beyond Southern Nevada is also very reasonable.  The per-cup cost for coffee shipped to Bangor Maine would only be: $.35

That’s a bargain by any standard!
